Gohar is an experienced policy, research and advocacy leader with over 15 years experience across Federal and State government, corporate as well as the not-for-profit sectors. She has extensive experience in developing evidence-based policy in complex subject matter areas and successfully advocating for systematic policy changes.

Gohar holds Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Master of Laws. She is also a peer-review published author.

Driven by a commitment to social causes, Gohar has actively contributed to the not-for-profit sector, notably serving as the Chair of the Liverpool Women’s Resource Centre for over five years. She is looking forward to continuing this passion and bringing her extensive skills and experience to advocating for better outcomes for the older people of NSW.
