Wellness 2 Age is an innovative, evidence-based program designed to support older people to stay active, independent, and engaged in their communities.

Developed by a team of allied health experts, it focuses on improving mobility, cognitive skills, and social well-being through activities that are meaningful and adaptable to everyday life. The program was recently trialled in regional NSW with partner organisations now being sought to allow for a wider rollout.

We hear from the allied health professionals who developed Wellness 2 Age from the Three Rivers Department of Rural Health at Charles Sturt University in Albury NSW, together with Greta, a participant in the trial program and Aged Care support worker Suzy Hann, who shares her experience of being involved with the trial.
