Older Australians consistently report higher losses due to scams than any other group. Whether it’s from the theft of personal, financial or security details, or investment or romance scams, it’s better to be safe than scammed.
This event, recorded in Sydney in June 2025, features presentations from leaders in the field, who share the latest information and advice on the importance of the stop, check, and protect message.
We also hear about the CYBERABILITY Project, innovative research into the power of shared stories used to inform free resources and techniques to help people avoid and recover from fraud.
Keynote speakers:
- Jayde Richmond, General Manager, National Anti-Scam Centre
- Dr Kate Gould, Monash University / the CYBERABILTY Project
