Meet Gwenda Darling

Gwenda is a proud COTA NSW member, who advocates on behalf of her peers on Dementia Australia‘s Advisory Committee and the Aged Care Council of Elders. Gwenda was diagnosed with younger-onset dementia in 2012 but hasn’t let that stop her, ably assisted by her registered assistance dog Redleigh – click here to watch

Meet Val Fell

Val Fell OAM is a proud COTA NSW Life Member, who continues to advocate on behalf of her peers well into her 90s!

Val is a retired maths teacher and statistician who remains active in her community and on the national stage as a member of the Aged Care Council of Elders. The council provides advice to the Australian Government about aged care and ageing well.
