Marika has a deep commitment to ending discrimination and exclusion. She joined COTA NSW in 2022 with lived experience of ageism and wants NSW to be the best place to age. She has extensive experience in leading community led organisations including peak groups. Her highly developed facilitation skills and intuitive style brings the best out of people. She is strategic and can assess operating environments with ease and her frontline social work experience brings credibility to her leadership. Marika is a past member of the Disability Council of NSW, the Guardianship Tribunal of NSW and was an elected Local Government Councillor.
