Your organisation  can become a Friend of COTA NSW to connect with older people and help us make a positive difference to their lives.

COTA NSW connects with with key decision makers in government, policy makers, service providers and the media to represent and further the interests and concerns of people. We are unique among non-government organisations in our engagement with people aged 50 and over.

We run consumer surveys and consultations in metropolitan, rural and regional NSW. This gives us a strong evidence base for our policy recommendations and advocacy work. We empower older people by training and supporting community speakers, advocates and representatives on decisionmaking and advisory bodies. We also provide information through newsletters and webinars which then become forums for further discussion and feedback.

Any organisation can become a Friend of COTA NSW, such as seniors’ groups, not-for-profit organisations, companies, service providers, industry associations, local councils, educational institutions, libraries, political organisations and government departments.
