COTA NSW Cycling Without Age

Enabling older people to get out into the community

A new project from COTA NSW will enable more older people to get out in the fresh air, even if they are no longer able to ride a bicycle, or never could ride one.

Cycling Without Age is a global movement using specially designed trishaws ridden by volunteer cyclists to enable older people to connect with the community.

With some funding from the NSW government’s Liveable Communities Program, COTA NSW is trialling a Cycling Without Age project in Parramatta. We will then expand to other parts of NSW.

Become a sponsor

COTA NSW is seeking sponsors for the trishaws, which cost $15,000 each. Benefits include helping older people in a positive and creative way, a small space on the trishaw itself, and exposure through our media channels.

Become a partner

We are seeking partner organisations to:

  • provide storage for the trishaws
  • provide parts and maintenance
  • provide passengers

Become a volunteer

Join our community of passionate and committed volunteers.  Become a trishaw pilot (training provided), help us organise the trial or help with sponsorship.
