More protections needed for people requiring a financial decision maker

A new report shows that more work is needed to assist people requiring a financial decision-maker and to help protect Australians from the possibility of being financially abused. This will require nationally-consistent power of attorney laws as well as a national register to protect the interests of vulnerable and older Australians.
