Participants are sought for a research project titled “The impact of housing tenure on the lives of people who are dependent primarily on the age pension for their income”.
Associate Professor Dr Alan Morris at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is conducting research into the influence of housing tenure on everyday life and circumstances. The purpose of Dr Morris’ research is to understand the impact of housing tenure (as a person who rents is likely to face different issues to a person who is a homeowner), and to make recommendations to policy-makers based on the research.
Participants will be asked to participate in an in-depth interview lasting for approximately 50 minutes. Interviews will be audio-recorded. Interviewees will be paid $30 for their time.
While this research has been carefully designed, please be aware that there may be the odd question that participants could potentially find uncomfortable and or embarrassing.
All interview material will be confidential and anonymous. You will not be identified in the write-up of the research.
Please note that this research applies only to people who are primarily or solely dependent on the age pension for their income.
