During Seniors Week last week COTA NSW conducted a poll which sought feedback from attendees on whether they believed older voters were a priority for NSW politicians. The results were staggering with 65% of people responding in the negative.

Given that over 43% of the State's electorate is aged 50 and over, COTA NSW believes that this response confirms there needs to be more of a focus on the needs of older people, particularly in the areas of employment, housing, transport and health.
